Ohishi Sherry Cask Whisky
DESCRIPTION
Ohishi Sherry Cask 8 Year Whisky is rice whisky that has been fully distilled, matured, and bottled by Ohishi Distillery in Mizukami, Japan. Like all Ohishi whiskies, the Sherry Cask 18 Year is distilled from a combination of estate-grown and locally sourced malted and unmalted grains, which undergo a 21-day fermentation before being distilled in stainless steel pot stills. The spirit is then aged 8 years in ex-sherry casks.

Our heather honey hallmark, alongside orange peel, cocoa and ginger, with caramelized brown sugar on the finish.
Nose : Dark cherries, golden syrup and sweet spices to the fore, with hints of toffee, glazed figs and hazelnuts.
